Whether you're brand new to Bitcoin or a seasoned HODLer, this is a welcoming, no-judgment space to connect with locals who share an interest in sound money, financial sovereignty, and the future of Bitcoin. No sales pitches, no shilling — just real conversations.
What to expect:
A short, practical walkthrough on Bitcoin basics and self-custody (wallets, seed phrases, security tips — bring questions!).
Open discussion: market trends, Lightning Network, adoption stories, or whatever the group wants to dive into.
Hardware show-and-tell if anyone brings gear.
Local action: We'll talk about how Square (Block) has now natively added Bitcoin payments for millions of U.S. businesses with zero processing fees through 2026 and easy Lightning integration. Many local shops already use Square, so this is a huge opportunity for real-world adoption right here on the Grand Strand. We'll have Bitcoin stickers to put out at businesses and simple ways to help educate owners on handling Bitcoin payments effortlessly.
