What happens to my sats when I change my nostr/primal bitcoin address ? Do I lose it or does it live on in my new primal.net address

I’m still a bit confused on how to use nostr for the way I want to. I’m already a bitcoiner, but I want to learn, discover and find different communities. Example: specialty single origin coffee. How do I go about finding this community?
