We MIGHT be on the cusp of a #bitcoin bull run and your FIAT profits may be in the 10's or, if you were in early, even 100's of thousands of dollars. But keep in mind, if you sell you may never be able to buy back the same amount of sats. Not because you won't have the FIAT but because the banks and exchanges won't let you buy back in the 10's of thousands. My brother just tried to buy heavy and bank closed his account. Expect this to become the norm.

trying to get my head around #Lightning network. If I were to get a non custodial wallet and provide own liquidity but only have say 1000 000 sats in channels but then let people pay money to LN address (invoice), if the incoming payments exceed 1000 000 sats does that LN invoice stop working taking payments? I've been getting bitcoin related friend requests on Facebook lately. Coincides with #nostr use. Is there anyway people can find your fb address through #nostr ? Surely not. Could be from listening to btc podcasts but even then I don't know how. Feels like security issue though.

My question to educators in the space. @ODELL @preston @Jameson Lopp @Peter McCormack How would Entertainers balance privacy with #nostr #bitcoin use? Existing singers, comics etc can't rebrand and create pseudonyms. The nature of our work (and personality), has it that we're not hard to find. As an example, we advertise our live dates, so people know where we'll be and when we're not at home (and content of our work often lets people know our home town so home isn't impossible to find). Multi-sig cold storage is obvious option but feels flimsy under physical attack, especially once they're in your house threatening your family. As Fiat loses power and btc grows these threats grow. Promoting yourself on #nostr (or that you're into btc) feels like you're adding a layer of vulnerability. With conferences and podcasts I'd put yourselves under the "entertainment" umbrella. Wondering if you have the same fears and what you might be doing to mitigate them? Thanks for your time.
