Hi, I’m James Goulding, a singer-songwriter from Southend-on-Sea. I write, record, and produce my own music, blending alternative rock and indie influences with honest storytelling and melodies that reflect the highs, lows, and everyday experiences that shape us all. My songs often explore themes of resilience, reflection, and finding meaning in life’s challenges. Over the past few years, I’ve released two albums, Please Stand By (2024) and So Far Away… (2025), through The BIGTOE Recording Company. Both records represent an incredibly creative period for me and showcase the DIY approach that has always been at the heart of what I do. Whether I’m performing solo or alongside other musicians, my aim is always the same: to create a genuine connection with people through music. I love combining thoughtful lyrics, memorable melodies, driving guitars, and atmospheric production to create songs that feel both personal and relatable.
