The object, especially now with the FINCEN stuff, is to lock the BTC in America. That's what the ETF is about. That's what the FINCEN stuff is about. Get it in the hands of oligarchs, register it and lock it away. They need to destroy the ONLY monetary asset that competes with the slavecoin they plan on rolling out. There is a chance that oligarchs in other countries or nation states themselves are watching this and began stacking immediately to disrupt this plan.

After 9/11, there were a group of people who believed that the best way to eradicate the scourge of Islamist terror was to "fight them over there". Neocons seized upon this and used it as a pretext for their forever wars of progressive conquest. The people who wanted their homeland safe were tricked. They were sold a bill of goods. They got the Patriot Act and the DHS, neither of which did anything but give the government the tools to surveil American citizens. And, they lost 10,000 of the best men America had to offer in Afghanistan and Iraq for absolutely nothing, their lives wasted. Many at the time on the Left suggested we had it coming or we shouldn't seek to prevent another 9/11.

So, the US looks like it wants to ban itself from bitcoin, huh?

The Left has been programmed to detest any "traditionalist" so any American to the right of Lindsay Graham is someone they just reflexively want destroyed. Most folks on Nostr are too young to remember this but back during the W years it was interesting to view the cognitive dissonance this created for the American Left. They were squarely against the "War on Terror" because, in their view, 1) it was against poor, downtrodden brown people and 2) because it was ostensibly being fought for American interests (defending the homeland, oil, allies). This led to this really strange situation for the Left where they had to reject the traditionalist ways of the brown people we were fighting without indicting them particularly. So, you the Left took to calling all the White conservatives in America the American Taliban or similar. Kos wrote a book called that and there were many others like "Christian Jihad" that made the same point - take the worst of Islam and that's what all of the Christians in America represent. It made it easy for them to convince people that we had our own domestic threat that needed to be repudiated.

What bothers me most about the Home Depot thefts is that I know, when I shop there, all of my transactions are tied to my identity and dumped into a database where they are stored forever so they can query them in perpetuity. Not so for the dudes lifting $$$ worth of whatever they want.

REPORT: The Los Angeles City Council voted to pursue a lawsuit and criminal probe against Gov. Greg Abbott and the State of Texas for busing illegal aliens to the city.
