One of the major issues with Bitcoin Education is the sheer number of articles / videos out on the web. There is a lot of useful content, but also a lot of noise. I am participating in the BOSS Challenge and I find the lack of high quality content interesting.
Paid for matcha at a Square terminal using lightning in Sarasota at Coast to Coast Coffee. Used the Bull Bitcoin Wallet. Took quite a while for the transaction to confirm. Even the owner was surprised. Tomorrow I will retry Wallet of Satoshi. image
Tough time at Steak N Shake today. Tried using Wallet of Satoshi. Got a message that it is unavailable in my region (USA). It was unclear that it was easy to set up a custodial wallet. Tried using Zeus - ended up not being able to connect to my node. Just kept timing out. Really tried to impress the family. Was not successful. Thankfully my partner had figured out the Wallet of Satoshi set up. Can’t recommend that wallet enough.
We are internet natives yet cannot find information. Perhaps we need a human node.
SOV has allowed the ecosystem to pursue new systems and implementations. It is leading to a revolution in MOE. Become a builder. Stop Hodling.
Lightning needs to be as easy as cash for merchants. The random server shouldn’t need to think about anything. The onus should be on us. Imagine being able to scan a receipt, add a tip and make a payment directly. Still friction in the verification however.
