I've noticed that there are a lot of people from the so-called right political spectrum around here. Well, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but I have also come across some extreme opinions. Overall, the tone leans towards "only the fittest survive," and I can understand why this attitude seems attractive to some, especially to those who are actually young, fit, and beautiful.
However, one must consider that this is not the survival strategy of our species. We are not a species where the strong (or fit or strongest or whatever superlative) devours the weaker. We are a species that has come this far through cooperation and mutual assistance, if one can even claim that. Otherwise, the unfit genes would have long since become extinct.
But they have survived because they filled some other niche that no one else could. And they were helped in all the areas where they apparently were not so fit. The MAGA ideal of muscle-bound, sun-tanned, fit Aryan people does not stand up to reality. There have also been people like Stephen W. Hawking among us who have advanced humanity in some way.
Extremism in all political spectrums is unhealthy and unrealistic. Our species is a balanced, harmonious species. And God created us this way so that we can all learn from each other's strengths and learn to tolerate the less favorable aspects.

For freedom, dignity, and autonomy.
It's quite arrogant how advanced modern humans see themselves today. In the past, advanced poetry was considered entertainment, which today only literature students can understand. Meanwhile, the dumbest shows and memes flicker across our screens.
To be honest, it feels a bit sparse here compared to other platforms. But there seems to be genuine freedom, which makes up for it. Alhamdulillah.
When you embrace Islam, when you read Allah's word, the Qur'an, your world view changes. In everything.
You get an idea of how things are connected and are partly no longer compatible with the worldview of many others. But that is not a reason for feelings of superiority, but for gratitude. Because it has been given to us; we did not deserve it.
I know you find us strange, but you would understand if you were to walk the same path. We do not find you strange because we have already been where you are now. We are not against people, whether Muslim or non-Muslim; we are against the one who has sworn to mislead us all.

Colonialism is thus a very ego-centric worldview with the observer themselves at the center of everything. In Islam, Allah is at the center of everything, and we stand aside. Sometimes closer, sometimes further away.
The climate in the West is changing. What was once a symbol of freedom and justice is increasingly becoming the opposite. It won't be long before the West needs to be saved by the Global South.
It's always interesting how an arrogant self-image can turn into its opposite. Even within our lifetimes. Where have all those great "Western values" gone, with which they have flaunted moral superiority over the rest of the world for decades?
I feel sorry for the ordinary man who simply goes to work every day to feed his family. Everything is happening above his head, orchestrated by the powers that be for whom he toils.
We are in this situation because we don't learn the Qur'an and adapt it into our lives. Because Allah, azza wa jall's, word is not our number one topic of conversation among each other. We talk instead about everything else.
We're living in a time where ethics, with human well-being as the highest good, has increasingly been replaced by the commercial interests of the top 1%.
