with a little bit of effort anyone can already use nostr without linking themselves to legal identities. with a few optimizations on the client side this will become much easier. nyms will build up verifiable reputations over time and become credible sources of truth.

the nostr revolution will be led by nyms, with strong verifiable reputations, not public figures that can be jailed or otherwise pressured in meat space.
