Using nostr, I want to make something for artists and independent creators in countries like India where the media is throttled and artists are prosecuted. My country needs to grow a thick skin. Imagine all your assets lying with an authority that can just flick a switch and take most of your freedoms away cause you made a joke that the emperor did not like.

What I’m liking about Nostr so far (few hours in) - I haven’t found any organisation or individual targeting a sales pitch or a product towards the audience. Not one “hey spend x economic units and consume y units of z” post.
