Today is Ash Wednesday. After, everything I discovered yesterday, I feel called to give something up for lent. We have too many lies floating around and corrupt leaders doing whatever they want with our country. I pray for our Christian leaders. Real Christian leaders. I pray for their strength to handle this situation regards these pedophiles. I think we need the most prayer we can get. We need the truth to come out fully and we need these people in bars. I pray that happens. They want to hurt and divide people the same way they hurt those victims in those files.

Week 36 completed, This week God blessed me with good weather in NYC. It was 45. It was beautiful. I managed to complete a 15 mile run. We set the base only building from it. It's a great day to be alive! I saw the most spectacular sunset next to the Statue of Liberty. The ice has started to melt.

My toddler has read 30 books this year. This is her next 15 books for the next week. She picked all of these books to read, 5 in Spanish, 2 Valentine's Day books, 2 Chinese New Year books. The other 6 were random finds she wanted to check out for the next 5 days. Why buy books when you can just borrow them for a week or two? She's got a whole library to read and various libraries. Books are abundant. The best habit she will have will be to be a curious reader.
