France has advanced a bill that would let police snoop on suspects' phones, including cameras.

The European Commissioner Thierry Breton announces that starting from August 25th, social media platforms will be required to immediately delete "hateful content" or "content inciting rebellion" under the penalty of being shut down within the territory.
