So in the Wikipedia judgement, the court says it "does not give Ofcom and the Sec. of State a green light to implement a regime that would significantly impede Wikipedia's operations".
So like, does that apply to everybody? If I decide I don't want to follow the rules, and Ofcom declare me in-scope and threaten me unless I put in place things that impede my operations...?
I really don't understand the legal system. It's an absolute mess.

I tried printing some vinyl. Mixed results. Laser is not ideal for this I sense. Not brilliant colour density. These are still going on my ThinkPad though!

Love a good spam text. Feel free to fuck with them.

kinda want a sparkledog alt-sona. Either that or just some art with Ret wearing some blingy/shiny stuff.
Just… randomly in the street in Manchester. An entire pallet of beer/cider. I was tempted to take one but it felt like bait.

So I've been using Oh My Zsh for like 10 years+ now and conscious that it probably isn't cutting-edge anymore.
So, Fedi, what are you using as your shell setup these days? For context, I'm on macOS (or Linux on my laptop) and I'd like to keep using zsh or something similar (I.e. probably not fish - I wasn't a fan when I tried that).
I'd like to add a "friends" links section to my site, idk if the etiquette is to ask before linking or just go for it! Maybe reply if you'd like your site on there. Webrings!
It's Virtual Friday for me.
Kinda tempted to get a laminator...

I feel like this guy is the spiritual successor of Tom Scott. Well worth a sub.
If it lands in my back garden, I’m keeping it.

Is there a name for the types of people who sort of cosplay IT/tech/security? They do lots of public speaking, lots of "soft" stuff. Maybe they have a bunch of "professional certification" type things (CISSP etc) but have absolutely no technical background otherwise. They are constantly interviewed by news outfits as "experts".
