Bitcoin doesn’t have customers. It has believers. And that’s why it’s still here after 400+ “death” headlines, 80%+ crashes, and its creator literally vanishing. Here’s what most people miss: Trust is: “I think you’ll do the right thing.” Belief is: “I know the rules, and I’ve verified they work.” Trust can be betrayed by one bad actor. Belief survives because it’s not based on people, it’s based on proof. Every 10 minutes, Bitcoin proves itself again. Another block. Another receipt. Another reason to believe. That’s not marketing. That’s mechanical conviction. And it made me ask: What else in my life runs on belief vs. trust? The relationships where I’ve verified someone’s character, those survive anything. The ones based on hoping they’ll do right, those break at the first test. Same with money. Same with work. Same with values. Build belief. The kind that can be verified. That’s the only equity that compounds.
Most brands say “trust us.” Bitcoin says “check for yourself.” Guess which one ages better.
It’s Black Friday for the humble DCA plebs. Worst month for #Bitcoin? Cool. More sats for the same fiat.
After 11 years in marketing, I’ve realised Bitcoin is the best brand story ever told, and it never needed a marketing team. So I’m starting The Bitcoin Lessons - sharing what Bitcoin teaches us about trust, brand, and building things that last. Lesson A: Authenticity. You can’t market your way into trust. Bitcoin doesn’t say it’s real, it proves it. No CEO. No PR. No marketing department. No slogans. Just proof of work.
I don’t want to do Web3 hype anymore. I want to do Bitcoin truth. Ex-CMO, ex-BNB Chain PR, 10+ yrs in brand & comms & communties. Looking to put my skills where my values are. ⚡
