Starting to feel like Lightning is useless for real privacy. Can't pay nostr.wine invoice from either Mutiny or cashu.me Quixote mint. Errors like "Failed to find route" and "Failed to Fetch" tell me nothing. Is Tor the problem? Are VPNs the best we can do as far as privacy?

Getting "Failed to fetch" whenever I try to pay an invoice from Cashu mint @Quixote⚡ to Mutiny or to nostr.wine. I'm using Tor and messaged them yesterday. Don't have a huge amount of sats there but with full custodial we need to nail this experience.

Attempting to use Nostr and Lightning through the Tor Browser. The good: primal, nostrudel, and Mutiny wallet work The bad: Tor Browser doesn't save any info so I have to do a lot of copy pasting. Tor Browser doesn't allow clipboard so have to type the seed phrase into Mutiny each time. Might setup a VM which proxies everything through Tor so trade a little privacy for usability. Overall, impressed with how well things work just playing around for a couple hours.
