typically when a new technology comes out it is optional, but in time it does not necessarly remain optional since more dependence is built on it, the people will become fat and stupid since all the new technologies are create to make life easier aka make you lazy. The life we once have know in the wild where only the strongest/smartest can survive was because of the challenge aspect of it, now technology works on eliminating challenges where the intellectual challenge will be handed out to the machine.
