Stained glass restorer/creator artisan. & Hand tool woodworking. Why? Because restoring is being part of the BTC realm. Not buying sh”& that will be useless in 2 years … but like BTC will be there as an Heritage . Creating beauty through Light and Glass is being true to a code : beauty of well Made Human things. Let’s get glass crazy!

Nothing to do with my craft… but related. Why? Heritage techniques used to preserve woodwork year after year against harsh climates (yep… that’s Quebec). Simple boiled linseed oil, pure turpentine, and pine tar. Nothing contemporary 😉 On the contrary: a centuries-old product. No need for sanding or anything. Just a simple cleaning, and that's it! The link with stained glass? The LONGEVITY of the simple beauty found in pure materials. Glass, Lead, Wood, Stone.

Sourdough and stained glass . What is the link : all done by hand , the artisan way . No compromises. Simple but constant efforts. The self employed resilience.

Exceptional. Despite the raging fire, the firefighters in this small community managed to save all of the stained-glass windows. Yes, there was some damage, of course. But the result is magnificent: works of great quality have been preserved. These treasures, often unknown or hidden, are frequently the heart and soul of these small towns and regions. image

Take the time to look at the photos BEFORE removing the old steel/glass protective glazing and the wire mesh. You can see photos from BEFORE and AFTER. And the stained glass are not even restored to their original magnificence yet …!

Dear friends , it’s been a while. Winter is slowly leaving our space… and projects finally are knocking on the door. Beginning of a splendid story, that will spawn over 2 years. The city as the courage to NOT listen to some haters , and believe in giving what the Futur will want : beauty and transmission of the Past to the children . Transmitting the Past is transforming sleeping skills into living hands and minds . More photos will follow …
