Orange Pilling Resources for Precoiners/Nocoiners that aren’t interested I’ve always liked the quote: “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready... the teacher will disappear.” But how do you create the first spark of curiosity? (the right spark) The few times I've seen friends/family get interested only because of $ (wrong spark) - they usually get rekt by either shitcoining, or panic selling. I’ve given away over 100 copies of The Bitcoin Standard… and maybe 20% actually get read in the first year. So I’ve started experimenting with lighter, more approachable entry points: Tuttle Twins Bitcoin Episodes: First Bitcoin Episode: https://www.youtube.com/live/yLjx0ha_6Qo?si=fd4MuLqn31swxY0H&t=346 Second Bitcoin Episode: Bitcoin and Friends – Somehow I missed this for years. Feels like an Adult Swim cartoon about Bitcoin. Maybe not the most effective orange pill, but it’s definitely fun: Watch here WTF Happened in 1971? – Not Bitcoin directly, but a great spark once people start asking “why does everything feel broken?” Site link: And for something a bit different— I recently co-created a fiction podcast designed specifically to intrigue people who wouldn’t normally care about Bitcoin. 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts Our goal wasn’t to “teach Bitcoin,” but to make people curious enough to go down the rabbit hole on their own. So I’m curious: what has been the single most effective resource you’ve found for sparking that first bit of curiosity in friends/family?

What's stopping a bunch of Canuck Bitcoiners from just buying up a huge swath of unincorporated land in the north and building their community? image

What are you currently reading or listening to? I've been very slowly savoring - There Is No Antimemetics Division If you're looking for a unique/one of a kind reading experience - I recommend it. (though I've only been reading it one or two chapters a month). image Otherwise I've been binging James Clavell's writing. (Rat King, Tai-Pan Sho-gun, and just started Noble House.) And just started Quicksilver. What are you reading? Any Recs?

Day 111 Season 1 was the Mystery. Season 2 is the Conspiracy. Step inside, and you’ll never look at freedom—or family—the same way again. image

Bitcoiner Coded Movies Mindblowing to this this movie was made for $7,000. First time I watched this movie - I immediately rewatched it. If I ever make a Bitcoin film it'll be because of movies like Primer and Coherence that make it seem possible without compromise. Cannot recommend this movie enough. 🔧 Primer (2004) A no-budget indie masterpiece where two engineers accidentally build a time machine in their garage. It’s dense, cryptic, and requires multiple rewatches — exactly the kind of puzzle Bitcoiners can’t resist. The film is about tinkering, breaking rules, and discovering that once you unleash a disruptive technology, there may be no putting it back in the box. 📜 Why Bitcoiners Will Love It: “Proof that world-changing revolutions don’t start in boardrooms — they start in garages with too much coffee and too little respect for the rules. Basically Bitcoin, but with time machines instead of nodes.” image
