When you think of the Best times of your life, the experiences that shape who and what you are, what comes to your mind? The solution is not more regulation. Criminals (including State actors) would find a way around any laws that were passed anyway. So that leaves the question: How do we set up a system to vet video content to prove authenticity? Some kind of unalterable digital stamp tied to the #blockchain? Some kind of reputation score for the content creator/poster? (this could be easily bribed/coerced into falsifying) I don't know what to believe is #authentic anymore. Maybe this has been true for a while now and it is just becoming more obvious. This is a discussion that needs an answer.
