For the moment, let's leave religion out of this discussion. I will come back to it later. All Humans(people), by nature, have the same rights; not dependent on when, where, how, or what gender they are born. These Rights supersede all national affiliations and national laws. These are natural laws. They existed before there were governments and will remain after. First and foremost, All people own themselves. All people are entitled to the fruits of their own labor. All associations, transactions, contracts, agreements, sales, etc. of Any kind, for Any reason must be voluntary. (Non-Aggression Principle or NAP - Aggression/Coercion should not be used to force anyone to do, say, or agree to Anything. The ONLY time aggression may be used is in the defense of the life and rights of yourself (or others) from another party initiating aggression.) Theft of any kind is wrong. These represent my ETHICAL stance on way human society should be. I understand that this model of
"The real disturbers of the peace are those who, in a free state, seek to curtail the liberty of judgment which they are unable to tyrannize over." --Benedictus de Spinoza (Baruch (de) Spinoza; 24 November 1632 - 21 February 1677) Tractatus Theologico-Politicus, 1675-1976 (published posthumously in 1677) #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #BenedictusDeSpinoza #BaruchDeSpinoza #TractatusTheologicoPoliticus #Tyranny #Peace #Judgment

NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION... I am going to say something that many won't agree with. It is not incumbent only on the man to maintain the relationship. There are things that both partners will, at times, not want to do that are necessary to maintain the relationship. These things will be different for different people. You need to find out what needs your partner has and do your best to meet them. One thing that is a big deal breaker in relationships is sexual gratification. When one partner doesn't "feel like it" and the other wants it there can be hurt feelings, misunderstandings, anger, doubt and a whole lot of undesirable consequences. Now don't misunderstand what I am saying. Occasional mismatches in desire/libido are to be expected. The problem arises when it becomes more than occasional and begins to feel like the norm. Sometimes, to preserve the relationship, it is better to put your own desires aside for a while and meet the needs of your partner. I can only speak from my personal experience, so take this with a grain of salt. When my wife doesn't "feel like it" for extended periods of time it makes me start to question her attraction to me and her commitment to the marriage. The longer it goes the more I get concerned. This is true even though we have had conversations about our commitment to each other, our marriage, our kids, etc. and reaffirmed those commitments regularly. Still, when there is no physical expression of that attraction and commitment there is an undeniable thought in my mind that maybe... Sex is wonderful. Sex should ALWAYS be consensual. Sex should not just be a treat; it should be a frequent thing between a man and wife. Sex should NEVER be withheld as punishment. Sex should NEVER be used as a bargaining chip. and sometimes, Sex should be consented to even when you don't desire it at that particular time. It goes both ways. This is for both men and women. "...because of immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband. The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control..." 1 Cor 2:7-5 NASB #Marriage #Sex #Biblical #Bible #Relationship #Commitment #Husband #Wife #Monogamous image
"It is incorrect to think of liberty as synonymous with unrestrained action. Liberty does not and cannot include any action, regardless of sponsorship, which lessens the liberty of a single human being. To argue contrarily is to claim that liberty can be composed of liberty negations, patently absurd. Unrestraint carried to the point of impairing the liberty of others is the exercise of license, not liberty. To minimize the exercise of license is to maximize the area of liberty. Ideally, government would restrain license, not indulge in it; make it difficult, not easy; disgraceful, not popular. A government that does otherwise is licentious, not liberal." --Leonard Edward Read (26 September 1898 - 14 May 1983), founder of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) Government—An Ideal Concept, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 (fulltext) #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #LeonardRead #Equality #Licentious #Liberal
"The philosophy of anarchism is included in the word "Liberty"; yet it is comprehensive enough to include all things else that are conducive to progress. No barriers whatever to human progression, to thought, or investigation are placed by anarchism; nothing is considered so true or so certain, that future discoveries may not prove it false; therefore, it has but one infallible, unchangeable motto, "Freedom." Freedom to discover any truth, freedom to develop, to live naturally and fully." --Lucy Parsons (Lucy Eldine Gonzalez Parsons, born Lucia Carter; 1851 - March 7, 1942) The Principles of Anarchism, A lecture printed without date of publication, c. 1890 #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #LucyParsons #Anarchism #Freedom

"The fundamental source of all your errors, sophisms and false reasonings is a total ignorance of the natural rights of mankind. Were you once to become acquainted with these, you could never entertain a thought, that all men are not, by nature, entitled to a parity of privileges. You would be convinced, that natural liberty is a gift of the beneficent Creator to the whole human race, and that civil liberty is founded in that; and cannot be wrested from any people, without the most manifest violation of justice.
