For the moment, let's leave religion out of this discussion. I will come back to it later. All Humans(people), by nature, have the same rights; not dependent on when, where, how, or what gender they are born. These Rights supersede all national affiliations and national laws. These are natural laws. They existed before there were governments and will remain after. First and foremost, All people own themselves. All people are entitled to the fruits of their own labor. All associations, transactions, contracts, agreements, sales, etc. of Any kind, for Any reason must be voluntary. (Non-Aggression Principle or NAP - Aggression/Coercion should not be used to force anyone to do, say, or agree to Anything. The ONLY time aggression may be used is in the defense of the life and rights of yourself (or others) from another party initiating aggression.) Theft of any kind is wrong. These represent my ETHICAL stance on way human society should be. I understand that this model of

"For if Men are to be precluded from offering their Sentiments on a matter, which may involve the most serious and alarming consequences, that can invite the consideration of Mankind, reason is of no use to us; the freedom of Speech may be taken away, and, dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the Slaughter." --George Washington (22 February 1732 - 14 December 1799) #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #GrowNOSTR #GeorgeWashington #1A #1stAmendment #FreeSpeech #Censorship
"...What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated..." --Thomas Paine (born Thomas Pain; 9 February 1737 - 8 June 1809) The American Crisis, 23 December 1776 #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #GrowNOSTR
People often argue about morality. What is Right? What is Wrong? These questions have NO meaning in the absence of a creator. What drives these concepts. Is it feelings? Species survival? The direction of the wind? What objective standard is there to base your definitions on? What makes your definition more or less relevant/correct than mine? What are the consequences of doing wrong? Why? GOD defines right and wrong. He created everything , so He makes the rules. He decides the consequences of breaking those rules. THIS is the TRUTH that nobody wants to admit... #GrowNOSTR #Truth #Morality #Right #Wrong #God #Creator #Rules image

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear." -- Harry S. Truman (8 May 1884 - 26 December 1972), POTUS Special Message to the Congress on the Internal Security of the United States, 8 August 1950 #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #GrowNOSTR #Truman #HarrySTruman #Censorship #Repressive #1A #1stAmendment #FreeSpeech
“Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons.” --Ron Paul (Ronald Ernest Paul; 20 August 1935 - present), former US Rep. from Texas Security and Liberty, 23 April 2007 #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #GrowNOSTR #RonPaul #GovernmentInterference #Safety #Totalitarian #SecurityBlanket

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” --C. "By liberty, then, we can only mean a power of acting or not acting, according to the determinations of the will; this is, if we choose to remain at rest, we may; if we choose to move, we also may. Now this hypothetical liberty is universally allowed to belong to every one who is not a prisoner and in chains." “In a state of tranquility, wealth, and luxury, our descendants would forget the arts of war and the noble activity and zeal which made their ancestors invincible. Every art of corruption would be employed to loosen the bond of union which renders our resistance formidable. When the spirit of liberty which now animates our hearts and gives success to our arms is extinct, our numbers will accelerate our ruin and render us easier victims to tyranny.” --Samuel Adams (27 September 1722 - 2 October 1803) American Independence, State House in Philadelphia , 1 August 1776 (full text) #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #GrowNOSTR #SamuelAdams #Complacency #Zeal #Tranquility #Weak #Tyranny
