For the moment, let's leave religion out of this discussion. I will come back to it later. All Humans(people), by nature, have the same rights; not dependent on when, where, how, or what gender they are born. These Rights supersede all national affiliations and national laws. These are natural laws. They existed before there were governments and will remain after. First and foremost, All people own themselves. All people are entitled to the fruits of their own labor. All associations, transactions, contracts, agreements, sales, etc. of Any kind, for Any reason must be voluntary. (Non-Aggression Principle or NAP - Aggression/Coercion should not be used to force anyone to do, say, or agree to Anything. The ONLY time aggression may be used is in the defense of the life and rights of yourself (or others) from another party initiating aggression.) Theft of any kind is wrong. These represent my ETHICAL stance on way human society should be. I understand that this model of

“If this nation is to be wise as well as strong, if we are to achieve our destiny, then we need more new ideas for more wise men reading more good books in more public libraries. These libraries should be open to all—except the censor. We must know all the facts and hear all the alternatives and listen to all the criticisms. “I am a believer in liberty. That is my religion — to give to every other human being every right that I claim for myself, and I grant to every other human being, not the right — because it is his right — but instead of granting I declare that it is his right, to attack every doctrine that I maintain, to answer every argument that I may urge — in other words, he must have absolute freedom of speech. --Colonel Robert Green Ingersoll (August 11, 1833 - July 21, 1899), The trial of Charles B. Where did everything come from? How was life formed? What is the meaning of life? What happens when I die? WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DIE??? These are questions we all ask at some point. They are important questions to find answers for, but many people are unwilling to see the truth. Why? What truth are people unwilling to see? The origin of all things and all people is clear. It is evident in everything that see can perceive in the world. It is undeniable when examined without letting our pride get in the way. "The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands." Psalm 19:1 (NASB) "...that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:19-20 (NASB) "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void...Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night...Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures...Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness...God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good..." Genesis 1 (NASB) The truth is that God created everything. It is obvious if you don't let your feeling get in the way. The problem that people have, the thing that people don't want to see, is: If there is a God, Then they don't get to make the rules. If there is an almighty creator of everything, then He makes the rules about what is right and wrong. That means truth is not subjective, it is absolute. We don't get to redefine the definitions if we don't like what we hear. People don't like being told "NO!" Anyone who has ever raised children knows this. As a parent there are many times when you just know more than the child. As a parent you set the rules and watch for dangers in order to protect your child from harm and teach them how to be a mature responsible adult. This, in many ways, mirrors what God does for us. We think we know enough to make good decisions, but He knows SO much more than we ever could. We rebel against His authority but fail to see that He only wants the best for us. So, God makes the rules. Now what? When you break the law and you get caught, there is a penalty? You have to pay a fine, lose some privileges, and could go to jail (or worse). These all happen in the courts instituted by man to enforce laws made by man. Sometimes you get caught. Sometimes you do not get caught. When you break God's law, you ALWAYS get caught. God sees everything that happens. He does not miss anything. When it comes time to face the penalty for the crime, payment must be made. God is the judge in the case and will not let offences go unpunished. But here is the good news: God made a way for your crimes to be forgiven. God loves us. He wants the best for us. But, He can not let crimes go unpunished, so He chose to suffer the punishment for you himself. Imagine that your father is the Judge for the town you live in. The police haul you in front of him and present undeniable evidence of a crime that you committed. He must convict you and sets a fine for the offense. That is his job as Judge for the town. It is his duty. But he is also your father and wants to forgive you so he offers to pay your fine for you out of his own pocket, not because of what you have done, but because of who you are. He wants to show you mercy, but it is up to you to accept it. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NASB) " The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 (NASB) You might think that you have not done anything wrong and therefore need no forgiveness. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 (NASB) "as it is written, “There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God; All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one.” " Romans 3:10-12 (NASB) You might think that the good things you have done will outweigh the bad and balance the scales. "...the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God." Romans 8:7-8 You can not balance the scales. You can not earn your way into Heaven. Even if you only sinned once, that would be enough to demand punishment. There is only one way into Heaven. Payment must be made. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 There has only ever been one perfect person, Jesus. He is God in Human form. He came to Earth as a baby born to Joseph and Mary. He lived a perfect, sinless life. And He died a criminal's death on a cross. He paid the price that is demanded of sinners. "...the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23 If that were the end of the story, then it would be a sad one indeed. But that is not the end. Jesus, the Messiah, the promised savior of the world died on that cross with a spear stuck through his side by a Roman soldier to prove it. He was buried and sealed inside a tomb with a gigantic stone blocking the entrance and guards outside. His body laid there dead but on the third day Jesus came back to life. He was seen by hundreds of people who knew Him. His own disciples who knew him best were skeptical at first, one even demanded to see and touch the wounds in Jesus's hands an side. After this there was NO doubt among the Disciples that it really was Jesus. Jesus Died to pay for Our Sins. He offers this payment to God for our sins if we choose to accept it. This is the one and only way into Heaven. "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."" John 14:6 (NASB) We don't deserve forgiveness, we can't earn it, but it is offered as a gift "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 (NASB) If you choose to accept this forgiveness then "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death." Romans 8:1-2 (NASB) "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NASB) Why did I go through all the trouble of typing this out? Because, believe it or not, I Love you. I want you to be forgiven of your sins. I want to see you in Heaven. I want to do everything that God wants of me here on Earth so when I time comes to see him face to face he will say "‘...Well done, good and faithful servant!..." Matthew 25:21 (NIV) "And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 MARANATHA! The Five Solas are five Latin phrases (or slogans) that emerged from the Protestant Reformation intended to summarize the Reformers' basic theological principles in contrast to certain teachings of the Roman Catholic Church of the day. "Sola" is Latin meaning "alone" or "only" and the corresponding phrases are: Sola Fide, by faith alone. Sola Scriptura, by Scripture alone. Solus Christus, through Christ alone. Sola Gratia, by grace alone. Soli Deo Gloria, glory to God alone. _____________________________________________________ Faith alone (Sola Fide) Justification is by grace alone through faith alone because of Christ alone. In justification Christ's righteousness is imputed to us as the only possible satisfaction of God's perfect justice. Our justification does not rest on any merit to be found in us. "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 NASB _____________________________________________________ Scripture alone (Sola Scriptura) The inerrant Scripture (the Bible) is the sole source of written divine revelation, which alone can bind the conscience. The Bible alone teaches all that is necessary for our salvation from sin and is the standard by which all Christian behavior must be measured. It is denied that any creed, council or individual may bind a Christian's conscience, that the Holy Spirit speaks independently of or contrary to what is set forth in the Bible, or that personal spiritual experience can ever be a vehicle of revelation. "All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NASB "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths." 2 Timothy 4:3–4 NASB "But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons" 1 Timothy 4:1 NASB "And He answered and said to them, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?... And by this you invalidated the word of God for the sake of your tradition." Matt 15:3-6 NASB "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep." 2 Peter 2:1-3 NASB "I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel, which is not just another account; but there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, even now I say again: if anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!" Galatians 1:6-9 NASB _____________________________________________________ Christ alone (Solus Christus) Our salvation is accomplished by the mediatorial work of the historical Christ alone. His sinless life and substitutionary atonement alone are sufficient for our justification and reconciliation to the Father. "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." John 14:6 "But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ." Matthew 23:8–11 NASB _____________________________________________________ Grace alone (Sola Gratia) In salvation we are rescued from God's wrath by his grace alone. It is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that brings us to Christ by releasing us from our bondage to sin and raising us from spiritual death to spiritual life. It is denied that salvation is in any sense a human work. Human methods, techniques or strategies by themselves cannot accomplish this transformation. "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 NASB _____________________________________________________ Glory to God alone (Soli Deo Gloria) It is affirmed that because salvation is of God and has been accomplished by God, it is for God's glory and that we must glorify him always. We must live our entire lives before the face of God, under the authority of God and for his glory alone. "‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. ‘Give us this day our daily bread. ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]" Matt 6:9-13 NASB Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus! #Christ #God #HolySpirit #Bible #Doctrine #Christian #Protestant #Solas

"...We have had 13. states independant 11. years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each state. What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. "It is forgiveness that sets a man working for God. He does not work in order to be forgiven, but because he has been forgiven, and the consciousness of his sin being pardoned makes him long for its entire removal than ever he did before. An unforgiven man cannot work. He has not the will, nor the power, nor the liberty. He is in chains. Israel in Egypt could not serve Jehovah. "Years ago, a member of Congress slipped a laminated quote into my hand that he must have thought I would find meaningful. I paid little attention at first and unfortunately I don’t recall just who gave me the quote. I placed it next to my voting card and have carried it ever since. The quote came from Elie Wiesel’s book One Generation After. The quote was entitled “Why I Protest.” Author Elie Wiesel tells the story of the one righteous man of Sodom, who walked the streets protesting against the injustice of this city. People made fun of him, derided him. Finally, a young person asked: “Why do you continue your protest against evil; can’t you see no one is paying attention to you?” He answered, “I’ll tell you why I continue. In the beginning, I thought I would change people. Today, I know I cannot. Yet, if I continue my protest, at least I will prevent others from changing me.” I’m not that pessimistic that we can’t change people’s beliefs or that people will not respond to the message of liberty and peace. But we must always be on guard not to let others change us once we gain the confidence that we are on the right track in the search for truth." --Ron Paul [Ronald Ernest Paul (20 August 1935 - present)], former US Rep. from Texas, (Liberty Defined: 50 Essential Issues That Affect Our Freedom) #QuoteOfTheDay #LibertyQuote #Quote #Quotes #Liberty #GrowNOSTR #RonPaul #WhyIProtest #ElieWiesel
