From what I can tell, Monero seems to be what Bitcoin would be if it made the tradeoffs to be private. Since it didn't, I have no hard feelings about Monero. I prefer to eventually have some Bitcoin layer that gives me close enough privacy by default without a bunch of asinine bullshit on my part. But in the meantime I see no reason to be unfriendly.
