It's a shame people have to live in their damn vehicles (or worse) in the US. I had to live in my car for a short time when I turned 18 and it really sucked. I remember a cop waking me up one night to check on me. I gave her some bullshit reason I was parked. In retrospect, she was just pretending to buy it and left me alone. But it's an experience that has stuck with me for years. I don't know how common it was then versus now. I didn't post about it online like a lot of people do now. Anyway, it's sad as fuck to see. The experience made me stronger, but it was also terrifying. Shoutout to the 1999 Isuzu Rodeo that didn't let me freeze to death that winter. 🫡

Most people outside the US don't have this problem (from what I've read), but group SMS/MMS is fucking annoying. I hate them. I almost never want to be in them and they essentially rob me of my peace by forcing their way back into my life every time someone responds to a message. The best I've come up with is to mute them, but the messages still come. And it's worse when they contain people I don't even know. I had a landlord that did that and for some reason older people love to do it.
