I really don't know how my wife deals with me.
I accidentally discovered that some of the Energizer rechargeable batteries I'm using (I use a lot) are 1300, 2000, and 2300 mAh. They all look the same. I should have verified. But I'm in charge of recharging everything and making sure critical and non-critical devices remain powered.
What bugs me is that I had them mixed in various devices. Can't have it. I took the batteries out of every device in the house, did a full inventory, and made a spreadsheet for which batteries are where. Now everything is separated and in devices that make sense. Except now I have to order more to make everything match.
I couldn't let it go. Am I cooked?

Biased, naive, sand pounder.
I have an obnoxious number of Simplisafe devices for my small apartment.
If I need an email address, verification of anything, or an invitation... Go fuck yourself. You're just adding more shit to an already large pile of shit.
Is this sufficiently decentralized too? Lol

I have 237 browser tabs.
I may have a problem. 😬
Individualism does not call one to be an inconsiderate asshole. Many people get this wrong on both sides.
I'm glad someone was thinking about my future back when I was living in a crack den and looking everywhere for stray coins to buy gas to get to work. I learned from those people and worked my way out. They cared.
I vividly remember how shitty life was starting out. I'm grateful for Bitcoin (and whatever else protects wealth), but I don't think it's right to just say fuck the poors and rip the ladder up by pretending everything is fine.

This has me thinking how basic engineering/problem solving skills are lacking in society but apply to many careers.
I use many of the same principles to solve tech issues, perform automotive work, or build a differential to address human body problems.
We go through so many years of "education" (American perspective) and yet so few people can demonstrate basic problem-solving. And many of those who can lack the ability to connect those skills to other domains.
It's weird.
