If it's too complicated for your certified dealership techs to diagnose and fix, either your engineering or your tech training is a problem. Given this seems to be an issue across brands, I think it's engineering. Of course none of this matters if you eventually want to get a new car every year.

The whole electric vehicle bullshit never should have happened. They should have went all in on hybrid technology instead, especially plug-in hybrid technology like the RAV4. It makes so much more sense. I'm about as anti-EV as one can be, but the idea of a plugin hybrid is exciting for me.
