This was fantastic. I really want to hear Dr Kruse and EM Burlingame sometime (who traces a lot back to the Roman Praetorian Guard, the kingmakers of the empire). Might be a good fit for one of Tom Luongo's shows on Gold, Goats, and Guns. The deep historic dive on covert power lineage is one we need more of.

GM Just found out I got a surprise holiday bonus coming. Guess it's a nice reminder that rather than leverage, shitcoins, derivatives, or treasury companies, the best way to get more Bitcoin is to provide value through goods and services in the real economy. Can't say I'm sad it happens to coincide with some crazy Japanese yield curve activity going on right now giving us a nice holiday sale price. Definitely a nice email to start the morning with.
