This seems to have slipped by you with talk of using Core v30 and just changing the config. Tl;Dr datacarriersize=83 on v29.2! = datacarriersize=83 on v30. Honestly my focus has moved to libbitcoin, as v4 is coming out soon, now with RPC support for things like electrum servers and Sparrow, unlike prior versions. Rather than focusing on filters and the utxo set, it has no utxo set as such, nor a mempool in the same sense, though it does still function as a full archival node. Worth checking out.
