This. I just had the same issue, implementing full outboxes and hints, random outboxes, and relay monitoring. It immediately got crazy-complicated (and slow), and then I started iterating over that feature set and it got progressively faster, smoother, and simpler. View quoted note โ†’
I said this, years ago, and it's still true. And now the clients and relays are actually getting pretty good. The quality of my experience is already higher, on my Jumble, than on Slack or Telegram. Which I hadn't thought possible and am sort of surprised by. We never had anything worth advertising to a larger audience, until now. The feature set was too small and the quality was too low. I think we're going to see a big jump in useability and comprehensiveness, this year, and a marketing push next year. I know that @GitCitadel has big plans. View quoted note โ†’
Your relays should handle small and capital letter filters, please. Stop throwing errors on #E or #I or whatnot.
Select which of the preset kinds you want to see, or look at _everything_. Filter the feed by time, author, or text. (Also available in notifications view, @The Beave .) Use the browser to translate notes.
In-line event search. Just type "@" and then "nevent" or "naddr".
