Without a doubt this is very interesting, but the purity test enforcers will soon come along to say it's crap. image

by @read_jfk_files tfw you laugh at idiot Microsofty lusers being globally tracked by the NSA because their GUID is hardcoded inside their TPM, but then you suddenly remember Linux also has /etc/machine-id and you forgot to setup your init daemon to periodically truncate and regenerate a new machine-id so you can't also be tracked because you are pretty sure that Chrome is reading it and sending it to Google as harmless "user telemetry analytics." i stand by my claim that mf'er asshole Lennart Poettering really is the NSA's man on the inside on a mission to destroy Linux and install the NSA's backdoors through all his systemd slop image

Hideo Kojima comments on the end of physical game production today in Italy: "Today you can still download data. But at one point games will make into streaming services like Amazon or Netflix and companies will decide if you can play a game or not [...] At this point I won't have anything of my own [...] the data will be somewhere in a company and I will have the right to access it or not depending on how much this data tap is opened. The fact that the initial data is not in my possession but is somewhere held by a private company means that I will always have that risk that for any reason, whether commercial or political, the company could prevent access to that data and therefore I will no longer be able to see that film, I will no longer be able to play that game. This is what's happening next for the world of video games and I fear it will also happen for cinema." image

What are Americans celebrating today? The founding of a state 250 years ago? 😂 You are the living proof that the power of a state cannot be limited; as soon as you found a state, its power inevitably expands over time to infinity. Today, 250 years later, you’re an empire of 350 million people that extorts 8 billion people, creates wars around the world, and has killed more innocent people than any other country in the world except for communist regimes. There’s nothing to be proud of—quite the opposite. The U.S. is trash, just like the rest of the states in the world.

The modern fiat monetary system is 55 years old. Bitcoin is 17 years old. When viewed in perspective, Bitcoin is very well positioned.
