Centralized services operating under government regulations are becoming increasingly restrictive. The latest is that they have blocked funds coming from Boltz for failing to comply with their AML terms. If Boltz is blocked across the board, all the progress we have made will go to waste and we will not have Bitcoin layers that are interoperable with each other. We cannot depend on a centralized service. Once again, the folks at Monero are doing better than us. They have Eigenwallet, a decentralized service for exchanging Bitcoin for Monero through makers. We have Boltz's code, which we know works, now we have to create a maker system like Joinmarket or Eigenwallet. Sooner or later, they will also end up blocking Bitcoins coming from Liquid. The solution for merchants also involves using solutions like BTCPay Server and not using government-regulated crap.

Winning is not a matter of what they do, but of what we do.

🔴🇪🇺🇨🇭 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢 — Demand for EROTIC services from "sex workers" EXPLODED by 4,000% at the Davos Economic Forum, which brought together many international heads of state. The platform offering these services usually registers an average of 2 bookings per day in Davos. During the Davos Economic Forum, this figure rose to 79 per day. The most expensive booking, whose identity remains secret, comes from a man who paid €103,000 for four days with five women. According to reports, one woman was offered a high-level position after spending time with a group of business leaders in Davos. Other sex workers were reportedly promised shopping trips to Paris. Joking aside, although it's true, as I always say, Cashu can be very useful, so if it's useful to you and you accept the risks, use it. View quoted note →

I've also heard many influencers and YouTubers say that Bitcoin regulation is good, that it creates a legal framework for its use. But are you an idiot? Do you need regulation to take a shit? To breathe? To fuck? Couldn't you use Bitcoin before the shitty regulations? I'll let you in on a secret. Breaking the law is very easy, you just have to make sure you don't get caught, and this is very simple with Bitcoin because Bitcoin has no title deed other than your private keys. Where are my Lightning transactions so I can see them?

Being a slave when you don't have the tools to escape slavery is logical. But being a slave when you have the tools to escape slavery is stupid.

BTCPay Server with the Boltz plugin saves merchants from having to keep an eye on their LN node's liquidity and allows them to accept payments instantly without the inconveniences of onchain, while also gaining privacy. It is also much cheaper than accepting Visa or Mastercard, and allows you to keep your accounting in B, away from the clutches of the state. But of course, most merchants took the COVID vaccine, so they feel comfortable being slaves and supporting the state. There is a serious lack of testosterone in the world.

Bitcoiners should be concerned about important things such as: - Why Bitcoin is not yet seen as a store of value. - Why Bitcoin is hardly ever used for payments. And no, it's not because of quantum computing, as some idiots claim. But perhaps it has something to do with the fact that we are losing focus and are no longer a benchmark. Look at the mess with Core. Also look at how Monero has stolen our thunder in online payments. We Bitcoiners have fallen into complacency and turned its development into a fucking circus.
