Just back from the @npub1d6cn...jpwn mini sats market & pleb meet. Where else can you learn about minimal-intrusion Zambian organic honey farming; self-hosted, permissionless NOSTR shops and (of course) chew the knots vs core fat a bit. Happy to have a learnt a thing. Delighted to have spent an evening with the best tribe. Kudos to @Yojimble for pulling it together, and the polished pumpkin carving.

Roasting chicken, being efficient and multitasking. Doing admin in parallel, like signing up the local pleb meet for the Blockstream beginners educational pack. Have alarms set for key times. Feeling like a capable adult. Alarm goes off. Head downstairs. Discover the chicken's been in for 1hr longer than expected, but at the lower heat. Find meat thermometer. Probe chicken. It's definitely cooked. Leave to rest. Head upstairs feeling grateful but less capable. Go complete sign up. Check phone. Time's reversed, it's now only 20 mins since the chicken was meant to be turned up. Head downstairs, realise it's clock change day & the oven is airgapped 🙃. Lose all sense of capability. Put oven back on. Twice-baked chicken's fine, right?🙄

If I were, hypothetically speaking, doing an 18hr fast and - while tidying up the kitchen accidentally put a scrap of roast chicken in my mouth, chewed three times, realised my sin and expelled it into the kitchen waste bin - would that; 1) count as fast-cheating? 2) make me a bit weird? Just contemplating potential scenarios... #asknostr
