The Spooltenna project is a perfect mix of amateur radio passion and open-source approach. It solves the eternal problem of tangled antennas in the field.
The best detail? You can buy their tuned product and support the authors, or thanks to their openness, build it yourself at home. That's what I call true HAM spirit!

Yesterday we bought this tiled stove and brought it to our garden shed. This week, a craftsman will come to build a chimney, so we will be able to enjoy the warmth this winter.

Today I received my SDR receiver. It has excellent parameters, so I'm looking forward to turning it on for the first time.
But first, I want to set up an outdoor antenna for the HAM bands 80 m, 40 m, 20 m, and 10 m. I want to focus mainly on them as SWL.
This is how I will spend my winter evenings in the garden.

My friend has already processed his harvest. He grows and produces great fuel products from chili peppers. I like to support artisanal production.

In the autumn, we utilize the bounties that nature provides. I add honey from my beekeeper friend and preserved mushrooms to my pantry. These provisions are a welcome addition during the winter months.
