Dear Nostr Friends, Please, we need your help for a dying brother who survived the terrorist attack. We need money to move him to a good hospital in the capital city. He has already received two pints of blood, yet he is not getting better. He is on oxygen, and I believe this hospital does not have the equipment to properly treat him. MORNING OFFERING God, our Father, I offer You my day. I offer You my prayers, thoughts, words, actions, joys and sufferings, in union with the Heart of Your Son Jesus, who continues to offer Himself in the Eucharist for the salvation of the world. May the Holy Spirit, Who guided Jesus, be my guide and my strength today, so that I may witness to Your love and accomplish all that I have set out to do this day. Lord, we offer You also our suffering as a people facing genocide because of our faith. You see our tears, our burnt homes, our wounded and our dead. Strengthen us not to lose hope. Give courage to the persecuted, and turn the hearts of our persecutors. We pray in a special way for the healing of all those in the hospital — the wounded, the traumatized, the dying. Touch them with Your healing hand, comfort their families, and send them helpers in their time of need. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. 🙏🏽

The society we abuse today will take its revenge on us tomorrow. We are in desperate need of help, but we cannot find any. A Muslim told me, “If you actually followed your Bible, you wouldn’t worship Jesus as God.” So I asked him a simple question: “According to the Bible, what was the major reason Jesus was killed?” He replied, “I don’t believe Jesus was killed. Allah raised him up.” I said, “Brother, please, we’re discussing the Bible, not the Quran. You told me that if I followed my Bible, I wouldn’t worship Jesus as God. So, according to that same Bible, why was Jesus killed?” He came back with, “Your Bible is corrupted. Jesus wasn’t killed. Allah raised him up.” I said, “Not the Quran again! We’re discussing the Bible. Just answer the question!” Then came another escape route: “Your Bible is corrupted. You don’t even know the authors. They are anonymous. Jesus didn’t write the Bible.” At this point, I decided to make things easier for him. I said, “Okay, for the sake of argument, let’s assume I accept all that. But according to the Bible, why was Jesus killed?” His answer? “The Jews always killed the prophets God sent to them. Jesus was killed because He told them to return to the worship of the one true God.” I asked, “Where exactly does the Bible say that was the major reason?” He replied, “That’s what the prophets were killed for!” I mean, are we having a Bible discussion or a game of religious hide-and-seek? 😂 Do you see the irony? He couldn’t answer a straightforward question about the very Bible he accused me of not following. Instead, he kept changing the subject whenever the answer became uncomfortable. According to the biblical account, one of the central accusations against Jesus was blasphemy because of His divine claims. John 10:30–33 makes this particularly clear. Jesus said, “I and My Father are one.” The Jews picked up stones to stone Him, explaining that it was because He, being a man, made Himself God. John 5:18 also records that they sought to kill Him because He called God His Father, making Himself equal with God. So, if you tell me to follow the Bible, please don’t be surprised when I actually follow what it says! The Bible presents Jesus as the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1, 14). He was truly human and truly God.

Access to the fullness of God is found in the realm of love - the kind of love that is governed by the scriptures of Zion, which reveals God's nature.

Have you ever seen such evil before? 😭😭😭 This evil was committed by Boko Haram today. They came in the middle of the night. They attacked a family - a husband and his son. They burnt down the house. The man's wife was killed. Her daughter had just given birth to twins, two baby girls, 3 months old. They took the twins by force and threw them into the fire. They burnt the house to ashes. One woman was left alive. Her name is Deborah Musa. Please, brethren, let us pray for her mental health. After my visit to her, I am running mad with sorrow. I am tired, I will be honest, but I know we are not abandoned. God did not bring us this far to abandon us now. I have to speak out loud. I need help, brethren! Please pray for us.

I’m tired of burial. My ribs are paining me because of crying, weeping. No help. As if they were waiting for me to arrived. Attacks from one village to another.Why? Let everyone be allowed to live out their faith freely, without force. Faith should not be imposed by the sword. We pray for peace, for protection for our people, and for true freedom of religion for all.
