@Meshtastic Where to start with this system? Living in semi-rural USA, looking for a 20-30 ft tower to weld or bolt to one of my shipping containers at the second highest point in my county... Thinking I could provide some LOS value to others in town and on the Interstate.
But, not sure how much cash I'd need to get something basic and expandable running. Could print enclosures if needed... But, what devices and antenna set up? #asknostr #meshtastic
#GM #GMnostr #truckstr Entertaining drive South of Salt Lake City, UT this morning... About 5-6 miles before reaching the farm we were delivering to, the temperature dropped quickly to about 27F and I got to drive through a freezing fog. Almost as bad as black ice, and definitely felt some slippage even at several mph below the 30 mph speed limit in the little town. Visibility maybe 1/4 mile (~800-1000m?) at best to see headlights.
These pictures at the farm, after we have been here ~2 hours can't even see the mountains that are maybe 2-3 miles away and huge! about 2 hours
