Good grief I hate Nostr more every time I try to use it for anything 🤣

Nostr interoperability FAIL. I have an old Android phone. I installed Amethyst and Dark Wisp. I don’t want to type my nsec anywhere on that phone. I have Clave and Primal’s built in remote signer on my iPhone, but Amethyst and Dark Wisp don’t seem to support either of those methods. I assume they use Amber, but I’m not going to put my nsec in yet another app. FAIL

Selling a product or service is different than V4V. Both are valid ways of monetizing something you create/provide, but they are different. People seem to not understand what V4V is and then get angry with you when you bring it up because of their own ignorance.

Yesterday morning I added a Monero payment target to my profile to compare with bitcoin zaps. @Constantin asked me how it went, so I thought maybe I’d just share an update every 24 hours for the next few days. Nostr activity fluctuates, especially on weekends and holidays, so giving it a week or two should give a better picture for comparison. First 24 hours: - 620 sats (≈50¢ USD) - 0.0086934 XMR (≈$4.66) I was genuinely surprised I received any XMR at all, especially the first day 😂 I wasn’t surprised at the relatively low bitcoin zap amounts, though, as that has been the trend recently.
