Our unscented tallow is comprised of three carefully selected ingredients that possess all the properties which synthetic & harmful moisturizers "aim" to provide... 1. Beef Tallow 2. Cold Pressed Almond Oil 3. Arrowroot Powder Your standard moisturizer that is widely accepted as "safe" has ingredients list such as... 1. Water (Aqua/Eau) 2. Dimethicone - A silicone that creates a smooth texture. 3. Glycerin - A humectant that draws moisture into the skin. 4. Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer - Helps create the gel-like texture. 5. Sodium Hyaluronate - A form of hyaluronic acid, which deeply hydrates and plumps the skin. 6. Cetearyl Olivate - An emulsifier derived from olive oil. 7. Sorbitan Olivate - Another emulsifier, used to keep the formula stable. 8. Phenoxyethanol - A preservative. 9. Chlorphenesin - A preservative that helps prevent microbial growth. 10. Tocopheryl Acetate - A form of 11. Vitamin E, known for its antioxidant properties. 12. The tallow we use in our products is 100% grass-fed grass-finished beef tallow, farmed in the United States. For those who don't know, grass-finished means the cattle were fed exclusively grass their entire lives. Distinguishing between grass-finished and only grass-fed matters, because claiming only grass-fed can allow the cattle to eat an unhealthy diet for majority of their lives (which ultimately dictates their health).
