Thank you because your donations literally helped me put food on the table. Today I bought 4.5 kg of chicken, which is enough for a couple of weeks, and I want to use this purchase to show you the huge difference in exchange rates between dollars and bolivars in Venezuela.
Here's where I went to pick up the 4.5 kg package of chicken:
This chicken is delivered to my house for free because I buy it from a restaurant supplier, and the price is even better than at the supermarkets. I found out about this company because they hired me for a photography job time ago.
This is the receipt they gave me:
$5.80 per kilo for a total of $26.60 for 4.60 kg.
This $26.60 is charged at the official exchange rate of the Bank of Venezuela, which today would be:
So, if we multiply 26.60 x 554.42, the result would be that I have to pay 14,747 bolivars (Venezuelan currency).
So far, so good, but this is where it all starts.
In Venezuela, there are no official exchange houses where people can freely buy or sell dollars. Currently, we can't even buy them from the bank, so we have to resort to the street market, buying or selling dollars from other people who need them and who set whatever price they want... BUT
There is an alternative, and in fact, it's widely used. Here in Venezuela, many people use the Binance platform to exchange bolivars for USDT and escape inflation. Furthermore, with those USDT, they can pay raw material suppliers abroad or wherever they need it, since they can basically exchange USDT for any other fiat currency they need.
BUT the price difference between the Venezuelan bank dollar and USDT is incredible!
Here's the exchange rate on Binance today:
742 Bs per USDT
There's a difference of between 25% and 34%, and believe me, companies factor that difference in by raising the prices of all their products to avoid bankruptcy (this is why it's more expensive to live in Venezuela than in any other Latin American country).
Okay... but something else happens too. For example, in this case, you sent me satoshis, which can be converted to USDT and exchanged for Venezuelan currency to pay for this chicken. In this case, to pay the $26.60 bill, I only had to sell 19.87 USDT.
And all of this, which sounds crazy, is something we experience daily because all Venezuelans are looking for ways to escape the inflation of the Venezuelan currency, which literally increases every single day!

Since tomorrow is the end of the month, today I sat down to update my accounts and balances. I separated the money for rent and food for next month (June), and it was worrying. After paying rent, I'm $163 short of what I should have to cover the month food, gasoline etc.
I'm asking for your help 🙏 Any contribution helps a lot. I promise to share a lot of content with you this month.
And if you have any questions about Venezuela that you'd like to know, I'll create content about it just comment

While one instructor gave the general explanation the other instructor observed and corrected each of the participants.

Then I put another cube on the set so that the girl could pose sitting down, she was very photogenic and had a lot of self confidence so taking these photos was very easy and they flowed in the best possible way!

At first I thought the girl was taking these photos for her birthday (as is customary) but talking to her she confessed to me that she was really "putting me to the test", she wanted to see in advance how the photos with me turned out to then decide if on her birthday she would return to take the photos with me or go with another photographer, but since we did an excellent job she is very likely to return!

Greetings to all my friends in this beautiful community, today I am back with a new set of photographs that I took in my new studio for a girl who hired my services.
We started by taking a couple of photos with the girl standing as a "warm up" while we gained confidence to take more photos.

Today I am back with a new set of photographs that I took in my new photography studio, on this occasion I did a maternity photo session for a girl who hired my services.
I will start by showing you the photos we did with the girl sitting on the cube, we started that way so she would be more comfortable while we "warmed up" and gained confidence, I started with a full body photo.

Greetings to all my friends in this beautiful community, today I want to share with you a new set of photographs that I took in my studio for some guys who hired my services because they wanted to do a photo session to have professional images of the perfumes they sell.
I started by photographing the store owner since he had the idea very clear in his mind and that way we established the lighting standard and how he wanted the following photos to look.

The guy was accompanied by quite a few friends so that each one would have their turn in the photos and thus have greater variety in the photographs!
The truth is we made hundreds of photos that day but here I am only showing you the best ones!

And then we took photos of the girls individually:
