GM.πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ Got bit by red ants this weekend while slacklining.... πŸ˜• Made a paste of equal parts bentonite clay and turmeric powder and wrapped in gauze. This relieved the itching. 😁 This morning, I unwrapped the gauze. The paste had hardened and was stuck to my foot. So I soaked the foot in a hot Epsom salt bath. I noticed the bites had blistered. My inclination was to pop them, but Internet search said "no" ...so I applied a little lavender oil. After breakfast, I applied more clay/turmeric paste. This is supposed to be good for the swelling. Anyone know how long it takes for the blisters to go away? Or why I shouldn't pop them?! πŸ˜‚ #homeremedies #fireants #holisticmedicine #ayirveda #slackline
It was so windy at the beach this evening... Made slacking a bit more of a challenge. A bystander said she had been watching me "go on and off the line for a while" ...and was wondering "when I was going to start" πŸ™„ I told her that was my practice. I go up and down and eventually I canstay on the line and walk it. I explained I don't get out to practice much so I'm not at the level as the "kids" that are usually out here on the trick lines. I also let her know the kids would be arriving soon.
