I think the feed algorithm for nostr clients should be open sourced and similar to the list of relays selectable for each user. i.e. several competing algos that you add to your algo list and can select one which displays a feed. Don't like it? use another one.

I bet if the OASDI (Social Security) fund bought bitcoin and THEN announced it was going to fund the program through bitcoin the program would be solvent indefinitely.

Idea to gain the network effect for Nostr: An app (maybe Damus) that posts to Nostr *and* twitter. Then all the influencers use the app instead of twitter and Nostr benefits from the pain-free double posting

The lack of sell pressure on any btc pair can’t be understated. If you wanted to sell, which denominator looks more attractive? Tether is the cleanest dirty shirt, but nobody should feel safe there. USD, then withdraw to a bank?? I’m not selling anyway, but I can see the lack of downside pressure as a huge tailwind for the usd price, even disregarding the melting ice cube that is the US Dollar.
