Hang around the dreamers if you want to dream. Imo there is no bigger “community” of dreamers than bitcoiners. Pushing one another, sharpening one another and dreaming together. On the quest for truth, self mastery and a brighter future you’ll leave many on the shores. Onward. image

This is what happens when you type in ALL CAPS for years. It takes a toll on a man. Could he go back to lower case? sure. Would it help? Sure. But he would lose himself in the process. All caps ain’t for the faint of heart. View quoted note →

Energy is agnostic. It doesn’t know good or bad, it only knows how to create, it can’t even be destroyed. It can destroy, but through that destruction a new iteration of energy will emerge. We are not agnostic. Thoughts themselves are electrical impulses. I can make the case that the human brain evolved to give meaning to energy. To give meaning to all of creation. Choosing how we use our energy is basically all we have. Our time on Earth derives its value by how good we are at using our energy towards things that matter to us. If we exchange our time and energy and achieve a desired result, that was a good use of energy to us. If we exchange our time and energy and get an undesirable result, that energy was wasted according to us. No choice matters more to the quality of a person’s life than how he or she chooses to use their energy. We all know this. And we all think deeply about how we choose to use our time, our energy. When someone chooses to use their energy to earn paper money and then trade that money for #Bitcoin, that person has decided that this is the VERY BEST use of their energy. And because so many of us are making that choice every single day, in the face of very hard economical decisions, we are giving Bitcoin its value. Digital scarcity is nothing without US. It’s valuable because we say so, we are putting our life force behind it and into it. The world does not understand yet that this is the type of capital that is locked within #Bitcoin. It’s the opposite of dumb money, the opposite of a bubble asset. It’s DEEP and it’s only begun. Our stories have barely begun being written, but by the time they are done everyone will know how wisely we used our energy.

All money is a shared delusion. So I choose the most beautiful delusion that has the ability to spin a story of love, optimism and hope for the future #Bitcoin image

The reason I like this framing is I think that non bitcoiners can grasp it. They can’t grasp “buying manhattan real estate in cyberspace”.. that means so little to the average person. But if they ask you, why does it have value and you say that you know someone that moved half way across the country, ( @Lauren of Light ☀️) leaving their family behind so that they could take on a job with better pay to stack #Bitcoin ₿ harder.. that makes them wonder. If you tell them you know someone that is X military that quit his good paying job and go all in on a #Bitcoin ₿ business ( @proofofink )that makes them think. When you tell them you know people that are working as hard as possible to get even a fraction of a bitcoin, maybe it sparks them as to why. These are the dollars that were traded for sats and are locked within bitcoin’s market cap. The energetic output of so many people that want a way out of this fiat system. The energetic output of so many people that just want something that can help them keep up with inflationary, paper money. Trying anything they can to save themselves and save their families. It’s DEEP. It’s DENSE. it is unique to almost every other asset on earth. View quoted note →

All assets have market caps, the money contained within each asset. I think of things like the density of a market cap, meaning how hard did the person that acquired the asset work for it AND how much do they believe in the asset, what’s their conviction in the asset. This is what gives the market cap its depth, its density. Without the energy density you have a bubble. you have something that people have purchased with money they don’t care about and they don’t really care about the thing they purchased. #Bitcoin may not have one of the largest market caps yet, but I guarantee you it has one of the densest. Many sats earned with serious blood, sweat and tears and the conviction of bitcoiners is second to none.
