How is your Ramadan ๐ going so far? For me, it's tough, it's stressful. But it's also full of successes and good news.

And no app updates? Because those are downloads too. So iPhone users are left to die out if they don't go through KYC?

I finally found a way to make use of the ad banners. I started spamming the timeline of my dead LinkedIn account with them. ๐
Oh wait, I think I still have a Facebook account lying around somewhere...

It looks like the days of #NoorNote's Mac support are numbered.
The dividing lines, and the users who rely on one tech stack or another, are becoming clearer and clearer. Take a position. NoorNote's future, with its GrapheneOS and Linux desktop-first approach, looks good. The clients that only run on Android, iOS, or on a web server, on the other hand... ๐คทโโ๏ธ

How do you best promote Nostr?
That's what I was thinking about the other day. Pretty simple: By not mentioning a single word about Nostr. Haha.
I know, some folks here are gonna get allergic reactions and break out in pimples around their mouths, but the underlying protocol, all those technical nitpicks, or even relays... none of that means anything to newcomers. The average person only cares about the client. That's what they see, that's what they use.
And when you're promoting, you don't talk about how awesome your own client is or what cool features it has, like how #NoorNote has killer NIP-51 list management, or how it shows quoted reposts as replies under the note, or how it can handle and create NIP-71 video content. All of that is soooo boring. The average person has no idea what to do with any of it.
Instead, you do a total U-turn back to Nostr's features and promote why someone should even bother using a Nostr client in the first place. I know, some people are getting even more pimples around their mouths right now. But hey, that's just my hypothesis. If you think you know better, go ahead and try whatever you want. Feel free to ramble on about protocols and NIPs and relays for all I care.
Anyway, here's my Nostr ad campaign for sure:
Grab the banners and spread the word. Just link to and leave the rest to me ๐. The lame content isn't my issue. But if the content's good enough and the average person sticks around longer, they'll eventually discover and try out other clients too.

Whenever someone sends me an email with "We're activating 2FA by XX/XX..." all I read is "We want your phone number now!"
You want the price to go up? I just need to buy some. Then it goes up.
I've been out of the loop these last few days. There's a lot going on in my life right now, including on a personal level. But I managed to squeeze out a mobile version of #NoorNote for you. Give it a try if you like.
Head to the download page ( ) and scroll to "Mobile". You can download the APK directly from there. Let me know how it works for you. The Keychat option is of course still available as well.
