I paint in oil. Inspired by time, silence, and light. Each work is unique and for sale in Bitcoin. β†’ https://isolabellart.it.com Paintings notes: #isolabellart Art gallery: https://gallery.isolabellart.it.com
image I paint for people who want to own something real. Not a print, not a file β€” a unique, handmade object, available for bitcoin. I'm on Nostr because I believe people who understand financial sovereignty also understand the value of an original work. If you're curious, my work is at:
You understand scarcity. You know that the most valuable things can't be copied. This moment β€” this exact quality of light β€” existed once. I was there. I saw it. I painted it with my hands. No filter. No prompt. No algorithm. Just pigment, canvas, and the kind of attention that only a human being can give to a fleeting thing. There is one. There will never be another. The birds crossing that sky won't cross it again. The figure on the shore has already walked away. But here β€” in this painting β€” that moment is still happening. Is it yours? View quoted note β†’
They’ve led us to believe that a slim smartphone is better and that, to achieve this, the battery had to be built-in. But slim smartphones aren’t actually any better than thicker ones; in fact, they’re often slippery, so you have to use a rubber case to protect the edges and stop it from slipping. What’s more, a built-in battery means you have to replace the whole smartphone frequently, rather than just the battery. Smartphones are getting bigger and bigger, with ever-higher refresh rates, and heavier and heavier if you want the battery to last. One rip-off after another, and we consumers have to replace it every year or two. What a load of rubbish. I want a decent smartphone again, with a replaceable battery, under 6 inches, with a non-slip, shock-resistant body without having to use huge cases, with a headphone jack, and with an OS that doesn’t pry into my business and that improves over time instead of getting worse with every update. And above all, at reasonable prices without having to sell a kidney. Let me dream.
(I can’t wait for September. Summer is the loneliest and most insipid time in the entire eternal existence of the finite and infinite world.)
