Within an hour of listening to my potted history of Bitcoin she went straight down the stranded energy mining rabbit hole - a no-brainer human interest story - and is going to pitch a show to an experienced documentary maker. In other words, the bitcoin marketing community just got a little bit more weighty and creative. If I can pitch Nostr right, there will be a new source of content. Also any devs and bitcoin businesses with a good story to tell but missing the in-house panache to nail the message, will have access to a super copy writer.

From what I can gather, Madeira is some sort of digital nomad Bitcoiner paradise. After looking online at the island's property, cost of living, cultural stuff - wow. If you come from anywhere other than "poor" Southern Europe and are after a grounded and truly cost-effective homebase with space for food growing, animals, and easy going lifestyle - I see no reason to look further than rural Spain. Just saying.

In 2008 I returned to UK after 3 years in the USA. Painting away, listening to the radio, I was shocked by what I was hearing on the BBC chat and current affairs shows.
