Just packed up from felling some trees. You know it was a sketchy redneck type of day when you pack up ratchet straps, rope, a 4x4x8', the 8 ton bottle jack and inspect the bar on the saw for damage. Oh and the Echo Radio that I was sure to have in my pocket if shit went sideways. But that big ass tree is down where I wanted and the saw bar is still straight. She didnt want to fall where I intended but with some physics, redneck ingenuity and a few hours I won the battle. #grownostr #redneckshit

I think I finally figured out what The LOTS Project is actually about. It only took me years. Solar, water, land, growing food, Bitcoin, privacy, DIY stuff… I’ve always bounced around between topics that probably looked pretty random from the outside. This morning I talked through why I don’t think they’re random at all. We also bought 110 pounds of paraffin wax for $55, made a little cabin progress, talked about the Solar Basics videos taking off in some interesting places, and somehow a yard full of fighting roosters made it into the show.
