After a discussion with @PalmTree I picked up some leads for my multimeter that have MC4 connectors on the end. A little modification to remove the locking tabs and latches and they will be great for testing all my panels. Also bought a new set of leads and adapters, I have been using the one I melted a bit when I shorted out a whole service panel in a gas station one day. Figure with all the electrical work in the near future I should pick up some up.

I doubt my coffee guy will ever get me to shift to dark roasts but he has opened up my mind to some med/light and medium blends. Back out to the cabin build property today. To do list includes shooting this weeks Solar Basics video talking about all the numbers on the back label of solar panels, then start moving all the trees i cut into rounds yesterday. Nice subtle change, little more body. I think i still prefer the straight Light. Headed out to the property today to work more on solar field clearing, prep for this weeks solar basics video shoot (What all the numbers on a solar panel label mean ), check in on the food forest and new comfrey patch. GM Nostr. Day 25 of rebuilding my Nostr habit. BOB blend in the cup this morning. It is fantastic. BOB is Bottom Of The Bag. I add the lasts of my bags to a jar and when it fills up I get a surprise blend. I normally like the single origin beans or the 2 or 3 blends my coffee guy has perfected over the years, but every once in a while that random mix in the BOB jar is the way to go. Trying to decide if I will open a new bag tomorrow or pull from my BOB (bottom of bag) jars where u accumulate small amounts of all the beans my roaster sends. I think this series will be pretty valuable for people looking to learn solar starting from the very basics. I will be documenting all the way through our whole cabin system install, but I am gearing the info so it could be used to make a small system for a garage or just charging some tool batteries. I break down the basic numbers without turning it into an electrical engineering class. We also get into why two 100Ah batteries can hold VERY different amounts of energy, why higher-voltage systems need less current to produce the same power, and the three things every off-grid system ultimately has to balance: ☀️ Generation 🔋 Storage ⚡ Loads And I explain why I've never actually designed a solar system using the textbook "figure out your loads first" method. Supposed to be extremely hot here the next 2 days so likely be hanging around the RV in case the power goes out or the AC fails. Our doggos wouldnt do to well. GM Nostr. Day 22 of rebuilding my Nostr habit. Sipping in med/light Honduran and looking at the weather forecast. Stupid hot and humid this weekend and doesn't drop much heading into next week. Need to record a video out at the property this morning and then cut and sand a custom Etsy order for some triangles. The lady said she will be using them for necklace displays. Normally our triangles are used for making crafty mountain displays, Xmas trees, candy corns or gnomes. This is the first time I have heard necklace displays.
