Starlink isn’t decentralized. It is, however, the reason we can live and work in places where the local internet options range from terrible to nonexistent.
We’ve relied on it for about four years—from RV travel across the middle of the country to our rural Tennessee property. Kori uses it for full-time remote work through a VPN, Teams and video calls while I upload videos, livestream and operate online businesses.
It has survived everything except two failed dishes, a weed whip, a driveway and the worst parts of a few thunderstorms.
