The redefining of jihad to be limited to evangelical style dawah needs serious review. Don't expect it to come from scholars/academia

For those of us religous folk we actually do believe in the divine rights of kings, but good luck reviving that without God or Gandalf. Hence why philosphical anarchy is also an option.
