Been a crazy busy and stressful week. Playing catch up on a lot of things atm but have about 40% of a new article complete. I haven't written this much in years and I still don't like using AI in my writing cause it is more of a reflectionary thing for me.

This has actually been true for some time as modern knowledge surpassed much of traditional Islam centuries ago. This is why you see such a STEM push in Muslim lands as they feel the real need to catch up. Problem is though that bottom up knowledge isn't respected in most scholarly circles yet age and time-in-the-game is. There are reasons for this but we also need to be open to new forms of gleaning knowledge. I'm aftaid that is going to require an institutional shake up in some form, likely with the rise of AI.

But with nostr how it is and everything still young in development it's kind of that first mover effect right now.
