Unnecessary fact: Chocolate cake will always and forever be my last choice. Some people find that very hard to compute. I'll have a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream or cream of some sort to balance the richness of the chocolate, but I was always a white chocolate / vanilla flavour kid and that's not changed since 😂 Cake fruit, vanilla, Victoria sponge cake, red velvet (dash of chocolate there)... 🤤 Now I want cake.

Yesterday I randomly got an advert for a show... and ended up buying myself tickets to watch who was my first favourite artist in life, between ages 10-14/15. We didn't have that much money and noone liked him either, so I never saw him live. Eventually, I expanded my taste in music and I met the band that literally saved my life. I kinda lost track of the other artist. I would listen to some of his songs every now and then but didn't know he still played at all all these years later - he's doing a 25th anniversary tour! 👵🏽😂 At the beginning of the year I also went to watch a band from my teenage who had dissolved 20 years ago. It is a year of fulfilling childhood/teenage dreams 💜 Today I put on this artist's playlist while making dinner and I sang every. single. word of his first two albums at the top of my lungs 😂 (public apology to my brother who listened to it all) I may not remember a single physics lesson but damn sure I remember these. This year my inner child is healing through the music I never thought I'd see live 💜

New statement on my daily route to the tube 💔

Tomorrow I have to fire someone that has been in the company for 17 years. I have been here for merely 1, and worked alongside that person every single day since - hghs and lows. My manager (the director) has been wanting to fire this person since day one, and now I have to do it while my manager gets to have cute chats with him showing him support in this situation as if this was my doing. I remain positive and seeing the good in people, but tomorrow won't be an easy day. Tougher when you believe in Karma. Let's see how things unfold. Sending love to you all 💜

Meeting with good old friends after years like time has not passed, it's an irreplaceable feeling 💜

I have just seen a baby fly. I've always seen flys and wondered why I always catch them looking the same, like they are born a certain size and stay that way. But today I've seen a smaller version of a regular fly. It was 1/3 of it. I'm actually so excited 🪰 I think I must have encountered them in life but probably didn't pay enough attention. It's the little things you guys, what a day!!

It's worrying how many times I've considered making driving a tuk tuk around London my full-time job 😂 I mean, you may get the on and off drunk people if you do it at night, but for what I've seen they still charge at least £20-£25 for 5 minutes 🙂‍↕️ that's more than I currently make an hour, and I'm not excersicing while at it 🤔 Food for thought.
