Played around with my Start9 server yesterday afternoon, and I think I finally have Jellyfin mostly working. Sure helps when you actually read the documentation for where files are actually stored! :blob-eyeroll:
It's still unseasonably hot here in Minnesota, and we're currently experiencing a pretty freaking awful allergy season. Pretty much everyone I know is miserable right now, including my poor dog. She coughed so hard at one point this morning that a pretty meaty fart squeezed out, which made me laugh until I coughed, too. Ah, the other circle of life.
It's the little things, really. I hope you all have a good day. Hugs and high fives. Maybe some day we'll all get a chance to meet in person.
GA Nostr friends. It was a good three day weekend with Hubs.
Our mutual friend Amy (who actually introduced us) indicated that her husband was interested in buying my dad's SUV. On Saturday, we all met up and got the papers signed. My dad is officially no longer driving. A little bittersweet all considered, but now I will be getting him around for errands.
Played around with my StartOS server this weekend a bit. Can't get my Jellyfin instance to "see" my media library, so poked around at that for a while Saturday until I got frustrated and had to go touch grass.
Allergies are still bad today. Symptoms get better the longer I'm indoors, but can't stay indoors all the time when the weather is beautiful and I have a dog that needs to pee.

Update: stayed home from church, and slept for close to two hours. Caught the message at the second service online, thankfully.
This antihistamine markets itself as non-drowsy, but I beg to differ.😴
GM Nostr friends I'm very tired today, and my seasonal allergies have manifested as a sore throat and cough that almost made me throw up this morning when I was getting ready.
We leave for church in about 20min, and I don't know if I'm going to make it through class and service. 😮💨
Please ignore my giant old lady glasses. Hubby's surprise idea was to take us to the lookout point on the bridge over the St. Croix river. Hot walk and my hips started to hurt, but gorgeous view.
Gggggggggggm Nostr friends! I'm hyped - Hubby and I took the day off to go putz around a town not too far away and check out an apple orchard. I love Fall! Totally a hot apple cider, warm cozy sweaters, and falling leaves kinda girl.
I also got some vanilla cardamom coffee from Trader Joe's - it is amazingly good. The cardamom adds a pop of flavor to the cold brew that is really delicious. I might just get some pods and grind them myself to add to future brews. #coffeestr

Tried to briefly explain all the differences, but he wasn't all that impressed.

Had a rough day at work yesterday. I missed a step on a cleanup process I was doing on Friday, and got some not so great words directed my way yesterday. It bummed me out for the rest of my evening, but only because I let it. Hubby tried so hard to cheer me up - just short of doing cartwheels to make me smile and laugh. What a good man I've been blessed with!
Praying today is a better day. I have so many things to be thankful for; gotta keep that in mind.
Here's a little frog that was sitting on one of our patio chairs this morning. Hubby named him Kermit, because obviously.

Worked hard today. Got a bunch of furniture donated, boxes moved to MIL's apt, then had a nice nap. Found a great taco truck close to home for dinner, and it turned out to be delicious. 🌮🌯
GM Nostr friends. I sat down with my @Oshi (推し) toast this morning along with a lovely dirty chai and started watching K-Pop Demon Hunters. It's hilarious and has gorgeous songs and visuals. Had to stop to help Hubby load up and haul some stuff to his mom's, but hoping to finish it later this afternoon while I do some loads of laundry.
